TCR (Taking Care of Retired people) is a local NGO that helps older and younger people claim their rights and holistic need, challenge discrimination and lose hope for life, to overcome poverty, so that they can lead their life to the old age in dignity, secure, active and healthy lives. It was found in 2015 from ideas and initiatives rose by Rwandese founder members. Vulnerable beneficiaries are the first partners of the organization, also with other stakeholders.

The organization focuses on issues that affect older and youth people in Rwanda such as rights, social protection, drugs, HIV and AIDS, also contribute to development of the holistic living conditions of vulnerable groups of beneficiaries in various areas, in particular : Health, Economy and Nutrition, Education, and Socio-Cultural domain
TCR works for and with older and youth people by : Elderly and palliative care,
To teach youth people to prepare their old age, Elderly care and palliative care, Training of population to know and contribute to their rights and how to lead their old age in dignity, The integration of retired people in activating them holistically in different ways of life, Inter-action between the older people and young generation.

TCR has an offices in Rwanda but want to expend its activities in Africa and the Worldwide.

Our Objective

TCR as a Taking care of retired people has the following objectives : To teach youth people to prepare their old age To contribute to the welfare of elderly by : Elaboration and implementation of project in resolution of problems caused by poverty. Permanent training of population in matter of human rights and how to reach to their rights specifically which should be provided to old people. The integration of retired in activating them holistically in different ways of life.

Our vision is " Developing the social Economic welfare of the Elderly and young people to make their lives better.
